Job Summary

Adani Group is hiring an experienced and diligent Lead for Airside Safety to join the team at the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIAL). This is a crucial leadership role where you will be responsible for managing the Airside Works department. Your primary objective is to ensure that all construction, maintenance, and operational activities on the airside are conducted with the highest levels of safety and in full compliance with aviation regulations.

As the Lead for Airside Safety, you will be the main coordinator for all activities happening on the runways, taxiways, and aprons. This includes everything from supervising construction projects and controlling Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to preparing and submitting operational documents to the DGCA. This is a hands-on role for a professional with a deep understanding of the complexities of airside operations.

What Will You Be Responsible For?

  • Lead the Airside Works Department: Manage the team and oversee all construction and maintenance projects on the airside.
  • DGCA Compliance & Documentation: Prepare all necessary operational documents and reports for the DGCA and ensure a strong compliance check mechanism is in place.
  • Construction Site Supervision: Conduct continuous inspections of all airside construction sites, hold pre-construction safety meetings, and ensure strict adherence to work permits (PERCOW).
  • Safety & FOD Control: Maintain rigorous control over Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and ensure all works are conducted without compromising the safety of daily airport operations.
  • Infrastructure Handover: Facilitate the official handing over of new airside infrastructure, prepare snag lists, and follow up to ensure all issues are resolved.
  • Operational Coordination: Act as the main coordinator for all wings of Airside Operations and assist the Head of Airside Safety in all functional controls.

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree (Graduation/Post Graduation) is required.
  • Experience: You must have 5 to 10 years of direct experience in airside operations within the aviation industry.
